1. PRICE CALCULATIONS. All prices are quoted in US$ (US dollars) and are inclusive of all taxes. Where applicable, postage and handling fees are not included. These price calculations do not include a 5% Paypal transaction fee and/or bank wire fees. US$ payments only. Payment must be made in full prior to shipment. Please see: ORDERS > PAYMENT OPTIONS.
PRICE CALCULATIONS are based on the following:
– MEDIA FEES: cost of providing the digital files
and/or
– RIGHTS MANAGED (license) FEES: rights to reproduce and/or use an image in the public domain
plus (where applicable)
JPEGS (email): Most original digital images are 5760 × 3840 in dimension for an optimal maximum print size of 21 × 32 inches (533mm x 813mm). Larger files available upon request, e.g. posters. Other file formats are available upon request.
2. PRINTS: Printing is not available at this time.
3. PERSONAL USE (JPEGs) (e.g. home display, private video, or photobook) (delivered via email or a ZIP file)
– SMALL file size (for prints up to POSTCARD: 100x148mm/3.94x5.83 inches): US$8 per image
– MEDIUM file size (for prints up to 2L: 127x178mm/5.00x7.01 inches): US$15 per image
– LARGE file size (for prints up to A4: 210x297mm/8.27x11.69 inches): US$35 per image
– ORIGINAL file size (for prints up to A3 Super: 330x480mm/12.95x19.02 inches): US$65 per image
Discounts apply on orders of 11+ images (please inquire).
4. PUBLIC USE (JPEGs) (e.g. office, hospital, school, museum, etc)
– SMALL file size (for prints up to POSTCARD: 100x148mm/3.94x5.83 inches): US$12 per image
– MEDIUM file size (for prints up to 2L: 127x178mm/5.00x7.01 inches): US$22.50 per image
– LARGE file size (for prints up to A4: 210x297mm/8.27x11.69 inches): US$52.50 per image

5. DELIVERY
Digital files will be delivered via a dedicated ZIP file.

– Book rates (same as above) are on the basis of a print run of 10,000 books.
20% discount on total order where 6+ images are used.

NOTE: The above-listed discounts are not cumulative. Only the highest discount condition shall apply.
– Additional book charges incurred where print run exceeds 10,000.

7. E-BOOKS
Pricing varies widely depending upon use and distribution. When inquiring, please clarify the intentions of both use and distribution.
8. TELEVISION & VIDEO
tx = transmission

First tx, worldwide: US$180; repeat tx: US$100
Fees are based on the number of transmissions (TX), up to 12 seconds per tx, with a maximum license period of 10 years from the first broadcast. The license fee is included.

The fee includes a license for the stipulated period.
– Editorial use:
up to 1 month: US$50
up to 3 months: US$80
up to 1 year: US$120

– Commercial / advertising use:
up to 1 month: US$100

– Academic / educational / museum use:
up to 1 month: US$25

– Streaming video websites (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, etc):

11. CD / DVD

The fee includes a license for a one-time print run.

13. WORLDWIDE USE FOR ALL MEDIA/USES
License fees for worldwide multi-media use are available and generally start at US$250 per image. Exact pricing depends on the nature of use. Please inquire for exact rates.
14. NOTE TO PUBLISHERS and PUBLICATIONS
Images may be available at your regular publishing house's / publication's freelance rates. Please inquire.
15. PHOTO CREDITS and WEBSITE HYPERLINK
When and where required by photo license, each and every photo license from HHJPL must be credited either as “Photo by Jono David” or “Photo © Jono David” or “Photo © Jono David, HaChayim HaYehudim Jewish Photo Library” or “Photo © Jono David/HaChayim HaYehudim Jewish Photo Library”. Additionally, when and where required by photo license, each and every photo must be hyperlinked to www.JewishPhotoLibrary.com and/or an un-hyperlinked listing of www.JewishPhotoLibrary.com must be listed for all licensed photos (as appropriate by each respective publication’s standardized credit formatting).
16. NON-PROFIT RATES
Images from the HaChayim HaYehudim Jewish Photo Library® may be available at reduced rates for non-profit organizations. Conditions apply. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All decisions are at the discretion of HHJPL.
General Conditions:
1. Only “established” non-profit / educational organizations are eligible
2. Images may be used in print and/or electronic media provided that these media are available to the public completely free of charge
3. All images must be properly credited
4. All TERMS & CONDITIONS and LICENSING rules apply — please read carefully
5. Where possible, a link to www.JewishPhotoLibrary.com must be posted
6. Special conditions may apply
17. ORIGINAL IMAGE FORMAT
Since August 2009, all images in the HaChayim HaYehudim Jewish Photo Library have been originally created in digital format. Most images taken prior to August 2009 were originally taken on 35 mm color slide (positive/reversal) film; other images were recorded on 35 mm color print (negative) film. Few images prior to that date were originally produced digitally.
18. PRODUCT DISPUTES & REFUNDS
– HHJPL takes every possible measure to meet the needs of its clients. In the event that a product is not satisfactory, please CONTACT detailing the problem. Your concerns will be addressed promptly. In the event that a product dispute cannot be resolved, refunds may, but not always, be in order.
– Refunds are not available to users who cancel or change orders once images have been printed and/or shipped (“shipped” may be defined as after an order has either been sent electronically or by post, not necessarily receipt of product by the user).
– JPEGS (and other emailed/zip file images in all formats): Refunds are available only in the event that images are shipped to the user after a specified date/time of receipt. HHJPL is not responsible for late delivery in the unlikely event that a JPEG delivery is delayed due to internet service interruption. In the event of JPEG refunds, HHJPL requests users to delete, in good faith, any images delivered to the user from any form of electronic or storage.
– NOTE: No refunds shall be made for delivered digital files for any reason after 30 days from the date of product shipment.
19. CANCELLATIONS
– Digital orders may be canceled prior to email/zip file shipment.

20. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
– Infringement of copyright shall be subject to legal action. Jono David/HHJPL shall reserve the right to impose the maximum image license fees listed on this website + transaction fees + legal fees. Jono David/HHJPL, at his discretion, shall reserve the right to impose fees at any rate in the event of copyright infringement above those publicly listed on this website. Copyright infringement is a serious violation of international law. Jono David/HHJPL takes copyright infringement seriously. Licensees who violate the Terms and Conditions of said license shall be deemed an act of infringement of copyright. NO THIRD-PARY USAGE is permitted under any circumstance, either by a licensee nor by any community nor individual to whom images have been provided free of charge in return for photographic permission granted to Jono David/HHJPL. Third-party usage requires image license fees to be paid by the THIRD PARTY. Distribution of Jono David/HHJPL images to a THIRD-PARTY shall be deemed copyright infringement by the distributor of the image(s) and/or the THIRD-PARTY. In the case that a community or an individual provides Jono David/HHJPL images to a third-party and misrepresents Jono David/HHJPL images as their own or that of another organization or individual shall be deemed willful infringement of copyright.
